Changes to existing features

  • New Zoom icon for PWA
    As part of our ever-evolving products and brand, the icon for the desktop client and mobile apps is updated with a new logo.

New and enhanced features

  • Meeting/webinar features
    • Enhanced in-meeting access to background settings
      The quick-access video options in a meeting provide easier access to blur your background and access other virtual background settings. This more closely resembles the same video options on the desktop client.

Resolved Issues

  • Minor bug fixes
  • Resolved an issue regarding Chat Etiquette policies not being applied properly
  • Resolved an issue regarding links sent through in-meeting chat being cut short if containing a # symbol

Release notes for Web

New and enhanced features

  • Administrator features
    • Smart Recording
      Account owners and admins can enable Smart Recording for cloud recordings, which includes the use of smart chapters and next steps. Smart chapters automatically create chapters with different titles and overviews based on the recording content. Next steps automatically creates a list of future action items. Hosts can make edits to chapters and next steps as needed. Additionally, the recording highlights feature is now a part of Smart Recording.
  • User features
    • Smart Recording
      When enabled, hosts can rely on Smart Recording to automatically highlight and group content within their cloud recording, and get a list of action items to take through next steps. They can manually edit the smart chapters, recording highlights, and next steps as needed.
