Trimming cloud recordings

Last Updated:

When viewing a cloud recording, you can trim it to set the playback range and remove unneeded portions. All associated files (audio and transcripts) will be trimmed and the trimmed version will overwrite the original recording file. The original recording can be restored at any time after trimming. Separate audio files of each participant and messages sent using in-meeting chat cannot be trimmed.

If enabled, you can also view the audio transcript for cloud recordings.

Notes:

  • When your edits to your recordings do not work, the recording remains in a trimming state. You will receive an email notification if an error occurs with your recording edits.
  • As an alternative to recordings, you can save recording highlights as a new clip if you don't want to edit the existing recording.
