How to Add a Contact Follow


You can add any Zoom user as a contact to chat, share images and files and meet instantly. They will need to approve your contact request. 


  • Zoom Account
  • Zoom client installed on your PC, Mac, iOS or Android device

How to Add a Contact

  1. Login to the Zoom client.
  2. Click on Contacts.
  3. Click on Add Contact (or +, then Add a Contact on a mobile device). 
  4. Enter one email address at a time.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Repeat with any additional contacts.

You can add multiple contacts at a time by clicking on Copy Invitation and sending it out via email. 

Approving a Contact

Before you can meet instantly with a contact or chat with them, they will need to approve your request. 

  1. Login to the Zoom client.
  2. Click on Chats.
  3. Click on System Notification.
