Assigning a License Follow

Overview

After purchasing a new license from the Zoom Sales team or from the Billing page, you will need to assign it to a user.

You can purchase additional licenses on your Billing page.

Prerequisites

  • Owner or Admin permission on the Zoom account
  • Unassigned Licenses

Note: Before a user can have a Webinar or Large Meeting License, they will need to have a Pro license assigned to them.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click User ManagementUsers.
  3. Locate or search for the user who you want to assign a license to.
  4. Click Edit at the end of the user row.
  5. This will open a window where you set a user to be Licensed or On-Prem, and then optionally assigned a Feature. To assign a Large Meeting or Webinar feature, the user will also need to be set to Licensed, as well as the account has available add-on licenses. Choose the radio button for the size of the license, if it is not automatically selected.
  6. Click Save.
  7. The license is now applied to the user and they can use it immediately.
