Getting Started with the Microsoft Teams Integration Follow

Overview

Zoom's Microsoft Teams integration allows you to start an instant meeting or join a scheduled meeting through Bots commands. Meetings created in Teams will appear on your Zoom account.

This article covers installing and configuring the Microsoft Teams integration. If you already have the Microsoft Teams integration configured, see Using the Microsoft Teams Integration for details on the available commands.

Prerequisites

  • Pro, Business, Education or API plan
  • Zoom email account (work email), SSO or Google login
  • Account admin/owner to setup Microsoft Teams on Zoom

Instructions

Installing and Configuring the Integration

  1. Login to Integrations on the Zoom web portal.
  2. Next to Microsoft Teams, click Configure.

  3. Enter your Teams Domain and Work Domain. These can be the same or different, depending on your Microsoft account.
    • Teams Domain: This will match your Microsoft login. It may be yourbusiness.com or it may be yourbusiness.onmicrosoft.com
    • Work Domain: This should match the domain that you use for your email addresses in your Zoom account, such as yourbusiness.com. 
  4. Click Manifest File. Download this file; you will need it for step 8 below.

  5. Login to Microsoft Teams.
  6. Click on Teams. You can add the bot to a new team or add to an existing team.
    • To add to a new team:
      • Click on Add Team.
      • Enter whatever you would like your team to be called. 
      • Click Next.
      • Click Skip to skip adding team members for now.
      • Click on the name of the team.
    • To add to an existing team:
      • Click on the ... next to the team name.
      • Click on Manage Team.

  7. Click on Bots.
  8. Click on Sideload a bot or tab at the bottom right. 
    Note: Once this Bot is approved for the Microsoft Office store, you can install it directly from the store and don’t have to side load it.
  9. Once it's loaded, you will see it listed in the bots.

  10. Go back to the team conversation. You should see a Welcome message and sign in link.

  11. Click on Sign In to link your Zoom account to Microsoft Teams.
  12. After you've signed in successfully, you will see the following message:
