Change My Password Follow

Overview

You can easily change your Zoom password at any time if you know your existing password. If you have forgotten your password, learn how to reset it.

How to Change Password

  1. Login to My Profile.
  2. Scroll down to Sign In Password, Click Edit on the right.

  3. Enter your Old Password.
  4. Enter your New Password twice to confirm.
    Note the following password requirements:
    • MUST: Have at least 6 characters 
    • MUST NOT: Contain only one character (111111 or aaaaaa)
    • MUST NOT: Contain only consecutive characters (123456 or abcdef)
  5. Click Save Changes.

Note: If you do not have the option to change your password on your Profile page, you may only have logged in with Google or Facebook previously. 

How to Add Password Login to Google or Facebook Zoom Login

If you have previously logged in with Google or Facebook only, on My Profile, you will see icons indicating Google or Facebook, but no icon for email.

Unless restricted by your Account owner, you can easily add an email and password login for the same account.

  1. Sign out of your Zoom existing account. 
  2. Go to zoom.us/signup
  3. Enter in the email address that matches your Google, SSO or Facebook login.
  4. Click Sign Up.

  5. You will receive an email with Sign Up instructions. Click to Activate Account.loginemail.gif
  6. Enter your desired password twice.
    Note the following password requirements:
    • MUST: Have at least 6 characters 
    • MUST NOT: Contain only one character (111111 or aaaaaa)
    • MUST NOT: Contain only consecutive characters (123456 or abcdef)
  7. Click Continue.
  8. You can enter in email addresses of contacts to invite or choose Skip this Step.
  9. Click Go to My Account.
  10. This will take you to My Profile of the existing Zoom account. It should now show the Google, Facebook or SSO icon that it showed previously, as well as an email icon to indicate that you can login with email address and password.
