End-of-meeting experience feedback survey

With the end-of-meeting experience feedback survey feature enabled, meeting participants are prompted to click either thumbs up or thumbs down when a meeting ends. You can choose to display the end-of-meeting experience feedback survey either after every meeting or for meetings randomly. Feedback survey information is collected and provided to the account administrator for analysis and improvements. 

To enable the end-of-meeting feedback survey, you must turn on Feedback to Zoom, which adds a Feedback tab to your desktop client and mobile app settings page . This allows you to send Zoom feedback at any time about your meeting experience or about the Zoom desktop client or mobile app.

Prerequisites for end-of-meeting feedback survey

  • Zoom desktop client
    • Windows: version 4.0 or higher
    • macOS: version 4.0 or higher
  • Feedback to Zoom enabled
  • Business or Education account to view the feedback in Dashboard
  • Owner or admin permission to view the feedback in Dashboard

Enabling the end-of-meeting experience feedback survey

Account

To enable or disable end-of-meeting experience feedback survey for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Basic), click the Display end-of-meeting experience feedback survey toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog displays, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon , and then click Lock  to confirm the setting.

Group

Note: If you signed up for a new Zoom account after August 21, 2021; or the New Admin Experience is enabled on your account, the Group Management page has been renamed to Groups.

To enable or disable end-of-meeting experience feedback survey for a group of users:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit groups.
  2. In the navigation panel, click User Management then Group Management.
  3. Click the applicable group name from the list.
  4. Click the Meeting tab.
  5. Under In Meeting (Basic), click the Display end-of-meeting experience feedback survey toggle to enable or disable it.
  6. If a verification dialog displays, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level and needs to be changed at that level.
  7. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in this group, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

User

To enable or disable end-of-meeting experience feedback survey for your own use:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Basic), click the Display end-of-meeting experience feedback survey toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog displays, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.

How to use the end-of-meeting experience feedback survey

After ending the meeting, the survey window appears.

  • If you click Thumbs Up (Good), you will not be prompted for any additional information.
  • If you click Thumbs Down (Bad), you will be asked an additional question about what was wrong with the meeting.

How to view the survey results

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as the account owner or admin.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Dashboard
  3. Adjust the date range for the reporting that you would like to obtain.
  4. Scroll down to Zoom Meetings Client Feedback. This chart displays all bad feedback and the problem(s) that the user chose.
  5. (Optional) In the upper-right corner of the chart, click Export details to CSV to download a CSV report of feedback details.
