Transfer Meetings, Webinars, and Cloud Recordings Follow


You can transfer all meetings, webinars, and cloud recordings to another user if you delete the user who they belong to. This will transfer all meetings, webinars, and/or cloud recordings to the same user. You can only designate one user to transfer the data to.

Both users will need to be on the same account. The user will need to have a Pro license to transfer cloud recordings and a webinar license to transfer webinars.

Note: Scheduling privilege can be also be used to transfer meetings and webinars between licensed users on the same account, without the need to delete a user. If you need further assistance in transferring meetings, webinars, or cloud recordings, please contact Support


  • Account Owner access, if the user is an Admin
  • Account Owner or Admin access, if the user is a Member
  • Both users on the same account
  • A new, Licensed user, to transfer cloud recordings
  • A new, Licensed user with the Webinar add-on for transferring webinars


If the user that you are deleting is an admin, you will first need to make them a member. Learn how to change an admin to a member.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click User ManagementUsers.
  3. Search for the user you want to remove and transfer the data from.
  4. Click More next to their name.
  5. Click Delete.

  6. Check which types of data you would like to transfer.
  7. Click Delete.
