Managing Zoom Sessions Summary analytics

Under the Analytics section of the Zoom Sessions event setup, the Summary tab provides a summary of total ticket sales, event duration, event gross income, and total refund amount. This tab helps hosts quickly review their event’s overall, general information and access full summary reports.

Prerequisites for managing Zoom Sessions Summary analytics
- Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education account
- Zoom Sessions Unlimited license or Zoom Sessions Pay Per Attendee license
- Stripe or PayPal Business account is required to create paid events
How to access Zoom Sessions Summary analytics
- Create a single-session event or recurring sessions event.
You can also edit an upcoming event to access event setup. - In the navigation menu, click Analytics then click Summary.
The Summary page will appear.
How to view the Summary tab's metrics
On the Analytics Summary page, you can view the following event analytics:
- Total Registrants: This measures the number of unique registrants via attendee self-registration or pre-registration by hosts. The number does not account for canceled or refunded registrants. This includes general ticket holders, special roles, hosts, co-editors, or hub hosts. Clicking View More will direct you to the Registration & Ticketing tab.
- General Tickets Sold: This measures the number of general tickets sold via attendee self-registration or pre-registration by hosts. Does not account for canceled or refunded tickets. Clicking View More will direct you to the Registration & Ticketing tab.
- Gross Sales: Displays the gross revenue from all ticket sales, minus refunds. Clicking View More will direct you to the Registration & Ticketing tab.
- Net Sales: Displays the total amount of sales after deductions. Clicking View More will direct you to the Registration & Ticketing tab.
- Total Attendees: This measures the total number of unique attendees who joined the lobby or any event session by phone, mobile, or desktop. This includes general ticket holders, special roles, hosts, co-editors, or hub hosts. This includes all Zoom Sessions roles. Clicking View More will direct you to the Attendees tab.
- Surveys & Polls: This measures the total number of surveys and polls set up for this event. Clicking View More will direct you to the Survey & Polls tab.
Note: Free events do not have Gross Sales or Net Sales.
How to share event analytics
- Access the Summary tab in the event setup flow.
- In the top-right corner of the Summary page, click Share Analytics.
A pop-up window will appear. - In the pop-up window, enter the email addresses with which you want to share event analytics.
- Click Share.
After you share the event analytics with other email addresses, you can view those email addresses under Access List; those emails will have access to the event analytics.
Note: Hub owners and hosts are automatically given access.
How to download CSV reports
- Access the Summary tab in the event setup flow.
- In the top-right corner of the Summary page, click View All Standard Reports.
A Download Standard Reports panel will appear, displaying all analytics reports. - In the panel, to the left of the report you want to view, click the forward arrow
to expand and view the details of the reports.
- To the right of the report you want to download, click Download
.
