Managing entry IDs for Zoom Virtual Agent

Zoom Virtual Agent admins can generate entry ID which is needed to connect bots to a campaign. Once connected, the bot will be available for use in the Campaign Manager.

  • Account owner or admin privileges; or relevant role/privilege
  • Basic, Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account
  • Zoom Virtual Agent license

How to create an entry ID

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click AI Management and then Virtual Agents.
  3. Click the Preferences tab and then Entry ID tab.
  4. Click Add Entry ID.
  5. In the pop-up window, enter a display name for the entry ID.
  6. Click Add.
    The new entry ID will appear on the list.
  7. Add the entry point to a bot flow.

How to add an entry ID to the main flow

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click AI Management and then Virtual Agents.
  3. Create a chatbot or click an existing chatbot.
  4. Click the Bot Flows tab.
  5. Select the bot’s main flow (Type = Main).
    This will open the bot flow editor.
  6. Select the Start widget.
    The bot flow editor will display a right-side panel with the widget settings.
  7. In the Settings tab, click Add.
  8. In the Manage Entry Point for Web Chat dialog box, click Add Entry Point.
  9. In the new pop-up window, select an entry ID and then click Add.
  10. Click Save.

How to delete an entry ID

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click AI Management and then Virtual Agents.
  3. Click the Preferences tab.
  4. Click the Entry ID tab.
  5. Locate the entry ID you want to delete, then click Delete in the last column.

How to delete an entry ID from the main flow

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click AI Management and then Virtual Agents.
  3. Click an existing chatbot.
  4. Click the Bot Flows tab.
  5. Select the bot’s main flow (Type = Main).
    This will open the bot flow editor.
  6. Select the Start widget.
    The bot flow editor will display a right-side panel with the widget settings.
  7. In the Settings tab, click Manage Entry Point.
  8. Click the remove icon to the right of the entry point and then click Save.
