Zoom is aware of an issue regarding in-meeting chat history being deleted when participants are placed into breakout rooms.

Resolution

Zoom is still identifying a resolution. A suggested workaround for those who need to utilize in-meeting chat and breakout rooms is to disable the new meeting chat experience in the Zoom web portal.
