Viewing the Admin Dashboard for Zoom Whiteboard

Account owners and admins can view account-usage metrics for Zoom Whiteboard. The Admin Dashboard comes with an at-a-glance view of whiteboard usage and adoption. This gives account owners and admins relevant and insightful metrics to better understand how their organization uses Zoom Whiteboard. The data is refreshed every 24 hours.

• Account owner or admin privileges with the Whiteboard Management and Template Management permission

How to access the Admin Dashboard for Zoom Whiteboard

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation menu, click Dashboard.
3. At the top of the Dashboard, click the Whiteboard tab.
4. In the Usage & Adoption tab, you can quickly see how many people used, created and shared whiteboards the previous day. Data displayed in the dashboard for the past 12 months includes:
   • Active Users (Daily / Weekly / Monthly): Users who performed any action on whiteboard during the specified time.
   • Number of All Whiteboards: Number of whiteboards currently owned by all the users in the account.
     • Boards per user: Average whiteboards per user (Total Boards / Users who own boards).
     • Externally shared: Number of whiteboards that were shared with a user outside of the account or if the sharing link setting is set to Anyone with the link can view this board.
     • Internally shared: Number of whiteboards that were shared with a user in the account.
   • Number of users who used Whiteboard: Distinct number of users who have performed any action on whiteboard within the past year.
   • Monthly Active Users (Trended): Monthly active users trended by month.
   • Total Number of Whiteboards Created (Trended): Number of whiteboards created trended by month.
     • Externally shared: Number of whiteboards that were shared with a user outside of the account during the month
     • Internally shared: Number of whiteboards that were shared with a user in the account during the month.
   • Top 10 Users: Top 10 users by number of whiteboards created in the last 12 months.
     • Name: Name of the user.
     • Email: Email of the user.
     • Number of Whiteboards: Number of whiteboards created by users.
     • Last Created: Last date user created a whiteboard.
     • Shared Externally: Number of whiteboards the user shared externally.

Metrics glossary

• Time Granularity
  • Daily: Current day.
  • Weekly: Rolling 7 days ending on current day.
  • Monthly: Rolling 28 days ending on current day.
• % Change Active Users:
  • Daily: Percentage change in whiteboards from current day to previous day.
  • Weekly: Percentage change in whiteboards from current day to 7 days prior.
  • Monthly: Percentage change in whiteboards from current day to 28 days prior.
• Trended Charts:
  • Monthly trending charts include data from the 1st to 28th for each month.
  • Monthly data for a month will only be reported at the end of each month.
• Whiteboard Actions: Whiteboard actions include opening the whiteboard dashboard, opening a whiteboard, creating a whiteboard, commenting on a whiteboard, resolving a comment, sharing a whiteboard, closing a whiteboard, starring a whiteboard, and attending a meeting where a whiteboard was shared.
