Using Chat compose with Zoom IQ

Sometimes finding the right words can be challenging. Chat compose with Zoom IQ writes your messages for you by leveraging context from your conversation. You’ll maintain the ability to change messages by adding tone, inputting prompts, or changing the length of the message to give you confidence in what you’re communicating.

Prerequisites for using Chat compose with Zoom IQ
Reply to a message using Chat compose with Zoom IQ
- A Zoom account*
- Zoom desktop client
- Windows: version 5.14.3 or higher
- macOS: version 5.14.3 or higher
- Linux: version 5.14.3 or higher
- Zoom mobile app
- Android: version 5.14.3 or higher
- iOS: version 5.14.3 or higher
Enable Chat compose with Zoom IQ
- Role with access to Account Settings*
*Note: This feature is available for select customers and must be activated by Zoom. Complete this form if you are interested in having this feature.
Limitations of Chat compose with Zoom IQ
- Use of Chat compose with Zoom IQ is limited to 30 queries per day, per user.
- Use of Chat compose with Zoom IQ is not available in all countries. For a list of supported countries, refer to this OpenAI article.
How to enable Chat compose with Zoom IQ
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Account Management, then click Account Settings.
- Click Team Chat, then click the toggle
next to Zoom IQ for Team Chat.
Ensure that the checkboxnext to Compose with Zoom IQ is checked.
How to reply to a message using Chat compose with Zoom IQ
- Sign in to the desktop client.
- Click the Team Chat tab

- Next to the message you want to respond to, click the ellipsis icon
.
Additional options for this message will appear. - Click Reply with Zoom IQ.
A window will open to generate a response. The message you are responding to will be the basis for the generated reply. - Provide the following information:
- Your prompt (Optional): Provide a draft of what your response would look like. This gives additional context and a sample of your writing style for Zoom IQ to mimic in its generated reply. This can be up to 1000 characters.
- Filters (Optional): Click the filter icon
and select the length and tone of the generated reply.
- Click Generate.
Your generated response will appear. - (Optional) If the generated response is not entirely satisfactory, click Try another to have a new response generated. You can also click Refine to change the filters before generating another response.
Add or adjust your drafted response to better guide and influence the rephrased response. - When you are satisfied with the generated response, click Insert.
The generated response will be copied over to the reply compose box. - Press Enter or click the send icon
