New and enhanced Features

      • Meeting features
        • Multiple participants can share their screen simultaneously
Hosts can choose to have multiple participants share their screens. To make full use of this feature, dual monitors are recommended for participants. During a meeting, the host clicks the arrow next to the Share Screen button to control this feature. Note that participants on mobile devices only see the most recently shared screen.
        • Cloud recordings include Gallery View
Meetings that are recorded in the cloud now include an additional recording file that shows the Gallery view.
        • Attendee waiting room
Hosts can enable a waiting room that lets them control when a participant joins the meeting. The host sees the list of participants in the waiting room, and then selectively allows them to join the meeting. If this option is enabled, the option to allow attendees to join the meeting before the host arrives is automatically disabled.
        • Support for the “End Call” button on Logitech Group
If a Logitech Group system is used in a Zoom meeting, a participant can press the “End Call” button to leave the meeting. A host can press the “End Call” button to end the meeting.
        • Direct share in a Zoom Room with sharing key
When proximity detection is not available in a Zoom Room, users can enter a key, consisting of a string of letters, to activate direct share. Click the Share Screen button to enter the sharing key.
        • 3rd party audio conference integration
Administrators can enable users in their account to schedule meetings that use a 3rd party audio provider. Participants who dial into a meeting using the 3rd party audio option can merge their audio with their video, and hosts have the ability to mute the audio.
      • Webinar feature
      • Meeting/Webinar feature
        • Attendee attention indicator
Hosts can view the attention status of an attendee by navigating to the attendee list in the client. This indicates whether the attendee has Zoom in focus while someone is sharing a screen.
      • IM features
        • Intercompany end-to-end encryption for group chats
If you have end-to-end encryption enabled, you can now include an external participant in a group chat, even if that person does not have end-to-end encryption enabled.

New and enhanced Features

      • Meeting features
        • Multiple participants can share their screen simulaneously
Hosts can choose to have multiple participants share their screens. Click the arrow next to the Share Screen< button to control this feature.
        • Meetings can have multiple co-hosts
If a new co-host is added, existing co-hosts maintain their privileges. The host now manually removes the co-host role for a participant, rather than having that role end automatically when a new co-host is added.
      • Webinar feature
        • Hosts and panelists can change their name during a webinar
Hosts can hover over their own name or the name of any panelist and choose More > Rename. Panelists can hover over their own name and choose Rename
      • IM features
        • View profile information for contacts
Hover over an avatar to show additional details that are available for that person, such as email address, phone number, and meeting room name.
        • Recall messages
Right-click a message and choose Recall. Recipients see that a message has been recalled, but do not see the content. Note that the Recall option is only available for two minutes after you send the message.
        • Block one or more contacts without deleting them
Right-click a contact name and choose Block Contact. Use the Instant Messaging section in the Settings window to manage your blocked contacts.
        • Delete a chat group
If you are the chat group administrator, right-click the chat group name and choose Leave Group to display options to either Delete or Transfer Admin for that group.
        • Save a static or animated GIF as an emoji
Right-click a GIF image within your chat session and choose Save. The image displays in the Custom section on the bottom panel of your chat session
      • Accessibility enhancements
        • A fully functional Zoom Meeting menu displays as an item on the Mac System menu.
        • Both local and cloud recordings include closed captioning.
        • Additional minor usability enhancements.

Fixed in this release

      • A single user can now be logged into a client on a desktop/laptop, mobile device, and iPad simultaneously.
      • If a host assigns host privileges to a participant of a breakout session, the host can now reclaim host control of the meeting.
      • When @all is used by the message sender in a group chat, the recipient sees @all instead of @me.
      • Additional minor bug fixes.
