Joining a meeting with the invite link

Last Updated:

If you are joining a meeting by clicking the join link, or manually joining a meeting from zoom.us/join, your web browser will open, display a message that the meeting will open in the Zoom app, and display a dialog box to launch the Zoom application.

In Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, you can choose to always open links with Zoom, but this is not currently supported in Safari.

Issues with the Zoom Launcher plug-in

On some occasions, the plugins may not be activated, disabled, not correctly installed, or installed correctly but failed to run. Check if the Zoom launcher plugin is enabled (re-enable if it was disabled).

Safari

Safari no longer supports most plug-ins. You will need to choose to launch Zoom each time.
