Inviting others to join a Zoom Rooms meeting

When you are in a Zoom Rooms meeting you can invite a Zoom Room, a H.323/SIP room, a company contact, or an external participant to join your meeting.

Internal invites

External invites

  • Invite by Email: Have a valid email.
  • Invite by Room System: Know the room's IP address or E.164 and be subscribed to the CRC (Cloud Room Connector).
  • Invite by Phone: Account is subscribed to call out feature

How to invite by contacts

  1. While in a meeting, tap Manage Participants then tap Invite on the controller.
  2. Tap the Contacts tab.
  3. Select the Zoom Rooms, SIP/H.323 rooms, or company contacts, you want to invite.
  4. Tap Invite.

How to invite by email

  1. While in a meeting, tap Manage Participants then tap Invite on the controller.
  2. Tap the Email tab.
  3. Enter the invitee(s) email address in the To: field. If you're inviting multiple participants, add a space to separate email addresses.
  4. Tap Send Invitation.

How to invite by phone

  1. While in a meeting, tap Manage Participants then tap Invite on the controller.
  2. Tap the Phone tab.
  3. Tap the number icon at the top left to select a country code if you are dialing an international number.
  4. Dial a number then tap the phone icon

How to invite by room system

  1. While in a meeting, tap Manage Participants then tap Invite on the controller.
  2. Tap the SIP/H.323 tab.
  3. Enter the IP address or E.164 number, select H.323 or SIP, then tap Call.
