Recording on iOS and Android Follow

Overview

You can record your meeting or webinar to the Zoom cloud from your mobile device with the Zoom app. Cloud recording allows you to view, share, and download your recordings from your Zoom account. Learn more about Cloud Recording.

Note:

  • It is not possible to record locally from an iOS or Android device.
  • You must be the meeting host to start a cloud recording on iOS or Android

Prerequisites

  • Pro License
  • Host or co-host permission for the meeting or webinar

Instructions

Recording from your iOS device

  1. While hosting a Zoom meeting from your iOS device, tap More.

  2. Tap Record to the Cloud.

  3. The app will now show Recording at the top of your screen.

  4. To stop or pause the recording, tap More again.

The recording will process and appear under My Recordings on the web after you have ended the meeting. 

Recording from your Android device

  1. While hosting a Zoom meeting from your Android device, tap More.

  2. Tap Record.

  3. The app will now show Recording at the top of your screen.

  4. To stop or pause the recording, tap More again.

The recording will process and appear under My Recordings after you have ended the meeting.
