Zoom has supported Google IM chat  for Google app and Gmail users in the past.

Google App Users Switch to Zoom Group Messaging:

Google is ending Google Talk application entirely that supported Gchat and Gtalk. Third party application providers can no longer use it. Effective Feb 2, 2015, Google app email logins will now be using Zoom group messaging.
