Getting started with Personal Audio Conference Follow

Overview

Personal Audio Conference (PAC) allows paid subscribers to host meetings through PSTN (phone dial-in) only. The PAC conference ID is a predetermined 10 or 11-digit conference ID that can be started by the host (or participant who knows the host key) by entering the host key provided on your profile page when prompted by the auto attendant.

Notes:

  • Host control over PSTN in-meeting will only be available on the PAC conference IDs.
  • Meeting capacity is determined by the account type and add-on plans assigned to the user account.

  • Pro, Business, Education, Enterprise account
  • Owner, admin with privileges to edit account/group settings
  • The host must be a licensed user
  • Audio Conferencing subscription

Enabling Personal Audio Conference setting

Account

Settings that had been previously changed for groups or users will be kept as is.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click on the Telephone tab.
  4. To enable Personal Audio Conference (PAC), click the toggle if it is disabled. In the Enable "Personal Audio Conference (PAC)" pop-up window, click Enable.
  5. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all members of the entire account, click the lock icon  and in the Lock "Personal Audio Conference (PAC)" pop-up window, click Lock.

Group

Settings that had been previously changed for groups members will be kept as is.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click User Management then Group Management.
  3. Click on the desired group name.
  4. Click on the Telephone tab.
  5. To enable Personal Audio Conference (PAC), click the toggle if it is disabled. In the Enable "Personal Audio Conference (PAC)" pop-up window, click Enable.
  6. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all members of this group, click the lock icon  and in the Lock "Personal Audio Conference (PAC)" pop-up window, click Lock.

User

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Settings.
  3. Click on the Telephone tab.
  4. Verify Personal Audio Conference (PAC) is enabled.
    Note:
    • If Personal Audio Conference (PAC) is disabled and greyed out, contact your account administrator.

Enabling your Personal Audio Conference (PAC)

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click Personal Audio Conference.
  3. Click Enable Personal Audio Conference on the right.
  4. You will be provided with the following:
    • Global Dial-In Numbers (toll free and fee based according to your selection).
    • Conference ID.
    • Participant password (to be added if desired).
  5. Once your Personal Audio Conference (PAC) is enabled, you can start hosting your personal audio conference meetings.
