Scheduling a Webinar with Registration Follow

Pre-requisites

  • Must purchase a Video Webinar plan of 100, 500, 1000, 3000 participants
  • Host user type must be Pro, and be assigned the Webinar license
  • Zoom application must be running version 3.0+

About

Scheduling a Webinar that requires registration will allow you to gather more information through registration customization.  Alternatively, you can schedule a registrationless webinar.

Automatically Approve Webinar

  1. Log in to your Zoom Profile and select the My Webinars option. You will be able to see the list of scheduled webinars here.
  2. Select "Schedule A Webinar"
  3. Enter the Webinar information
  4. If under "Invite Attendees" the registration type is not automatic, please select "Edit" to change to automatic approval
  5. Select "Automatically Approve"
  6. The registration url and invitation will now appear under "Invite Attendees"

Manually Approve Webinar

  1. Log in to your Zoom Profile and select the My Webinars option. You will be able to see the list of scheduled webinars here.
  2. Select "Schedule A Webinar"
  3. Enter the Webinar information
  4. Select "Edit" under "Invite Attendees" if the registration type is not manual
  5. Select "Manually Approve"
  6. The registration url and invitation will now appear under "Invite Attendees"
  7. After an attendee has registered select "Edit" under "Manage Attendees"
  8. Select the User to approve or deny. If approved, they will receive an email with information on how to join the Webinar.
