Kiosk Settings For Zoom Rooms iPad Follow

When setting up ZoomRoom on the iPad you will need to ensure some settings are configured correctly to set it for kiosk mode. This will allow ZoomRoom to start and prevent users from using other applications on the iPad. 

Disable Auto-Lock

  1. Open the "Settings" App on your device.
  2. Go to "Display & Brightness" and then "Auto-Lock" menu options.
  3. Select "Never."

Setup “Guided Access”

  1. Open the "Settings" App on your device.
  2. Go to "General" and then "Accessibility" menu options.
  3. Select "Guided Access" under the Learning section.
  4. Turn On "Guided Access."
  5. Select "Passcode Settings" and set a passcode to log out of Guided Access mode.

Start “Guided Access” Mode

  1. Open the "Zoom Rooms" App.
  2. Triple click the Home button the device.
  3. Select the Options button to enable or disable any buttons on the device.
  4. Click "Start."

Your iPad is now secured so ZoomRoom is the only available application.

Exit “Guided Access” Mode

  1. Triple click the Home button on the device.
  2. Enter the Guided Access passcode entered earlier.

Enable “Night Shift” Mode

Note: Night Shift mode is only available on iOS 9.3 and up

  1. Open the “Settings” App on your iPad
  2. Go to “Display & Brightness” and tap on “Night Shift”
  3. Tap “Schedule” to enable “Night Shift” on the iPad

The brightness of your iPad will be reduced during scheduled night shift hours
