Using Slack with Zoom

Once you have integrated Zoom to your Slack account, you can now use the /zoom or /zoom join commands. You can also use the call icon to start a Zoom meeting.

Type /zoom help to list the Zoom commands available - Start a Zoom Meeting
Type /zoom
When the meeting ends, the channel will receive the following notification on the meeting details:
If a cloud recording is generated, the channel will receive the following notification to view the recording: - Start a Zoom Meeting with a Topic
Type /zoom meeting <Meeting Topic> - Start a Zoom meeting with Personal Meeting ID
If "Enable Personal Meeting ID" is enabled in your Meeting Settings, /zoom or /zoom meeting <Meeting Topic> will use your Personal Meeting ID.
Note: If your PMI is used, there will be no meeting end notification and no recording notification. - Join a Zoom Meeting
/zoom join <Meeting ID> - Start a Call with Zoom
The Slack team owner will need to go to "Settings & Permissions"
In the settings tab, expand on "Calls" and select "Enable calling in Slack, using:" and select the "Zoom Calls" app. Once configured, select "Save"
Selecting the "Call" button with the hint "Start a call with Zoom" will start an instant Zoom meeting. A channel will receive the following notification:
Select the call icon in either a channel or direct message. Once selected, a Zoom page will load and launch the Zoom application.
Using /zoom
When you are in a Zoom channel, enter /zoom to create an instant Zoom meeting.
This enables any users within the channel to click the "Click here to join" blue hyperlink to join the meeting.
This instant meeting will also show up on the user's Zoom client under Meetings. You can click on the Edit button to change the meeting options such as Audio options, join before host, etc.

Using /zoom join
When you are in a Zoom channel, enter /zoom join meeting ID to join a scheduled or PMI meeting. It will create a link "Click here to join." You or users in the channel can then join the scheduled meeting.
