About

Once you have integrated Zoom to your Slack account, you can now use the /zoom or /zoom join commands. You can also use the call icon to start a Zoom meeting.

Using /zoom

When you are in a Zoom channel, enter /zoom to create an instant Zoom meeting.

This enables any users within the channel to click the "Click here to join" blue hyperlink to join the meeting.

This instant meeting will also show up on the user's Zoom client under Meetings. You can click on the Edit button to change the meeting options such as Audio options, join before host, etc.

This instant meeting will also show up on the user's Zoom portal under Meeting List. You can click on the Edit button to change the meeting options such as Audio options, join before host, etc.

Using /zoom join

When you are in a Zoom channel, enter /zoom join meeting ID to join a scheduled or PMI meeting.  It will create a link "Click here to join."  You or users in the channel can then join the scheduled meeting.
