Changing Team Chat notification settings on the desktop client

You can change when you are notified of new chat messages. You can set do not disturb hours and choose not to receive notifications while you are in a meeting. You can also mute group chats or channels so that you don't receive any chat notifications for specific group chats or channels.

- Zoom desktop client for Windows, macOS, or Linux: Global minimum version or higher
How to change chat notification settings for all chats
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click your profile picture, then click Settings.
- Select the
Team Chat tab.
You will see the chat notification settings.
How to change chat notification settings for a channel or group chat
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click the Team Chat tab

- Hover your cursor over the group chat or channel, and click the ellipsis icon
.
- Click Notifications.
- Choose if you want message notifications from this chat or channel for All messages, Mentions and replies, or Off, to receive no notifications from this chat or channel.
