      If Skype for Business is running, Zoom will disable headset/HID support to prevent Skype and Zoom from both responding to headset commands. This ensures users will not hear a dial tone from Skype when attempting to answer a Zoom call with their headset.

    If a host removes a user from a meeting, they will be banned from the remainder of that meeting session.

      During a presentation, participants can provide non-verbal feedback without interrupting the flow of the presentation.       You can delete a message that you sent at any time. The message is removed from the IM application so that recipients no longer have access to it within Zoom. Only the sender sees a notification that the message was deleted.
    • Edit a message
      You can edit the content of a message that you sent in the past. The search results that recipients see in the chat will reflect the content of your edited message.

  • Text Annotation Tool when Screensharing
    A text tool for typing on the screen share or whiteboard has been added to the annotation tools.
  • Edit a message
    You can edit the content of a message that you sent in the past. The search results that recipients see in the chat will reflect the content of your edited message.
  • Delete a message
    You can delete a message that you sent at any time. The message is removed from the IM application so that recipients no longer have access to it within Zoom. Only the sender sees a notification that the message was deleted.
  • Multiple participants can share their screen simultaneously
    Hosts can choose to have multiple participants share their screens. To make full use of this feature, dual monitors are recommended for participants. During a meeting, the host clicks the arrow next to the Share Screen button to control this feature. Note that participants on mobile devices only see the most recently shared screen.

  • Side-by-side mode for a shared screen
    Meeting and webinar participants who are viewing a shared screen can switch to Side-by-side Mode. This enables them to see the shared screen alongside either the Speaker View or Gallery View, depending on which view they choose. They can also adjust the location of the separator between the shared screen and video to change the relative size of each side.
  • Far end camera control
    Meeting hosts can take control of your camera and use Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) functionality of the camera on your Linux computer.
  • Remote Support
    Meeting hosts can remotely control and restart a Linux computer to provide support to another participant.

  • Reclaim host using the host key
    The meeting organizer can use the host key to reclaim host privileges for the meeting if another participant starts the meeting.
  • Accessibility enhancements
    The client includes improvements for users who are accessing Zoom using screen readers or keyboard navigation.
  • Screen share enhancements
    You can swap the position of the shared screen with the video of the person sharing the screen, so that the shared screen displays as a smaller thumbnail and the video of the person sharing the screen displays in the larger active window.
  • Co-hosts can control polls
    Co-hosts can launch and close a poll that was created by the meeting organizer.
  • New download packages for GCC
    Different 64-bit packages are available for GCC version 4.6 or below and for GCC version 4.7 or above. On the Zoom Download Center, if you choose Other Linux OS and 64 bit, you can choose either gcc 4.6 or gcc 4.7+.

  • Improved Google login
    Google has enhanced the login process and in the latest version of Zoom, logging into Zoom through Google takes advantage of these enhancements.
    Important: If you log in using Google, you must upgrade the client before April 20.
