April 27th, 2020 Version 22.214.171.12400426
New and enhanced features
- AES 256-bit GCM encryption
Zoom is upgrading to the AES 256-bit GCM encryption standard, which offers increased protection of your meeting data in transit and resistance against tampering. This provides confidentiality and integrity assurances on your Zoom Meeting, Zoom Video Webinar, and Zoom Phone data.
- New initial password generation
When deploying a new Meeting Connector virtual machine, for extra security, the initial password will be randomly generated. We do recommend still changing the admin password after initial deployment.
- Admin authentication required for password changes
If an admin changes the password for any of the users of the web console, they will be prompted to re-authenticate before the change is finalized.
- Minor bug fixes
Note: The information in the past release notes may have been superseded by subsequent release notes. Please review all current release notes carefully.
