IMPORTANT: Zoom’s LTI Pro app is now available in the new Zoom Marketplace. LTI Pro should be used instead of the LTI documented in this article. If you are already using the LTI documented in this article, read how to migrate to LTI Pro and how long this LTI will be supported.
CourseNetworking (CN) is an LMS system and Zoom will be an external tool for teachers to start meetings with his or her students.
- You must be on an Education, Business, API, or Enterprise plan.
- Navigate to LTI under the Integration section of your Zoom account and select Configure. Copy the LTI Key and Secret.
- Add Zoom as an LTI Tool in CN Channel. The CN Channel Admin can then go to External Tools on their institution’s Channel page to configure Zoom. In the Add External Tools table, fill out the Consumer Key, Shared Secret and Launch URL (https://zoom.us/lti).
- Launch Zoom in Course. After Zoom is added as an LTI tool by institution Channel Admin, it will appear in all Channel courses on the left menu. Instructors can then click on Zoom to launch it within a course. Once an instructor has launched Zoom, students are able to launch it.
