Eliminating echos with proximity detection

Zoom desktop client uses ultrasonic sound to detect proximity to a Zoom Room or another device joined into the meeting. Zoom Desktop Client will automatically disable computer audio to prevent audio echo in a Zoom Room.
Prerequisites
- Zoom Rooms for Mac or PC/Touch version 3.6 and higher
- Zoom Rooms iPad controller version 3.6 and higher
- Automatic direct sharing using ultrasonic proximity signal option is enabled
Instructions
Since Zoom Rooms is the audio source, the Zoom Desktop Client will automatically disable computer audio (both speaker and microphone audio) if it detects proximity to a Zoom Rooms. You do not have to do anything if this feature is enabled.
