Yealink T4 S Series Auto-Provisioning Guide Follow

Overview

This guide is ONLY for Yealink T4 S series Auto-Provisioning.  

The successful deployment of auto-provisioning allows users to enable the service of VoIP devices instantly by several simple clicks without tons of hand-on operations.

Instructions

If your Yealink T4 S is a brand new (out-of-box) phone, skip the factory reset and proceed to Yealink T4 S Auto-Provisioning Setup.

If your Yealink T4 S is a used phone or you are not sure, you will first need to reset the existing configuration to factory default via the phone GUI as follows:

  1. On your phone, press the Menu button then select Status and make note of the IPv4 address.

  2. Open your web browser and enter the <IPv4 address> to log in to the web interface of the desktop phone. 
    Note:  The web interface of the desktop phone will prompt you for login credentials.  These are the administrator credentials to your phone and you must know it to continue. By default it is admin/admin. If you do not know your login/password you may need to contact the vendor of the phone.

  3. Navigate to the Settings tab and complete the following:
    1. Click the Upgrade menu on the left panel.  
    2. Under Reset, click Reset Now or Reset to Factory to reset the phone to factory default.

  4. Proceed to Yealink T4 S Auto-Provisioning Setup.

 

Yealink T4 S Auto-Provisioning Setup

  1. Open or refresh your web browser and enter the <IPv4 address> to log in to the web interface of the desktop phone. 
    Note:  The web interface of the desktop phone will prompt you for login credentials.  These are the administrator credentials to your phone and you must know it to continue. By default it is admin/admin. If you do not know your login/password you may need to contact the vendor of the phone.
  2. Navigate to the Settings tab and and click Auto Provision on the left panel to access the auto provision page.

    1. Locate the Server URL field and enter the provisioning link of https://provyp.zoom.us/api/v2/pbx/provisioning/Yealink/<phone_model>
      Note:  You must change <phone_model> accordingly in the above URL. The model name must be in lowercase with no spaces.
      Example: https://provyp.zoom.us/api/v2/pbx/provisioning/Yealink/t46s
    2. Delete any data in the User Name and Password fields and ensure they are left blank.

  3. Click Confirm to save the configuration then click Auto Provision Now to apply the configuration to your phone.

    Notes
    1. Your phone will reboot and configuration is now complete.  
    2. To verify that auto-provisioning is successful after the phone has rebooted, check if the status light on the phone has turned green OR refresh the web configuration page and check if the iine displays as Registered under Status > Account Status.
