Viewing Call History and Recordings Follow

Overview

If you have Zoom Voice activated on your account, you can use the Zoom client to view call history, including missed and answered incoming calls and outgoing calls.

Note: Use the Zoom web portal to view call history and recordings if you need to filter calls by date or contact.

Prerequisites

  • Zoom desktop client for Mac, PC, or Linux
  • Zoom mobile app for iOS or Android
  • Zoom Voice license activated on your account

Viewing Call History

  1. Log in to the Zoom client.
  2. Click the Phone icon.
  3. Click the Call History tab. Call history is displayed in reverse chronological order with most recent calls at the top.
     
    You can identify calls using the following:
    • If the number has a display name or has been added to your contacts list, you'll see a name above the number.
    • Answered incoming calls are displayed in black text. Missed incoming calls are displayed in red text.
    • Outgoing calls have a the following icon beside the number: 
    • Calls that were recorded show Recording below the date/time.
    • Hover over a call history entry for these options:
      • Click the phone icon to call the selected number.
      • Click the more icon  for these options:
        • Clear: Deletes the selected call history entry.
        • Clear All Call History: Deletes all call history entries. All call recordings will also be deleted.

Viewing and Saving Call Recordings

  1. Log in to the Zoom client.
  2. Click the Phone icon.
  3. Click the Call History tab. 
  4. Calls that were recorded show Recording available below the date/time.
  5. Hover over a call history entry for these options
    • Click the phone icon to call the selected number.
    • Click the play icon to play the recording.
    • Click the more icon  for these options:
      • Save to Folder: Saves the call recording file (.mp3).
      • Clear: Deletes the selected call history entry. If there's a call recording, it will be deleted as well.
      • Clear All Call History: Deletes all call history entries. All call recordings will also be deleted.

  2. Tap the Phone icon.

    • Answered incoming calls are in black text. Missed incoming calls are displayed with red text.
    • Outgoing calls have an upwards arrow icon  beside the number
    • Calls that were recorded show a play icon  beside the date/time.
    • Tap and hold a call history entry for these options:
      • Call back: Calls the selected number. You also also tap a call history entry to call back.
      • Delete: Deletes the selected call history entry. If there's a call recording, it will be deleted as well.

Viewing and Saving Call Recordings

  1. Log in to the Zoom app.
  2. Tap the Phone icon.
  3. Tap the Call History tab. Calls that were recorded show a play icon  beside the date/time.
  4. Tap the play icon  to play the call recording.

    You will also see the following options:

    • Share icon : Share or save the call recording file (.mp3). You may see different share options depending on the apps installed on your phone.
    • Call back: Calls the selected number. You also also tap a call history entry to call back.
    • Delete: Deletes the selected call history entry and call recording.

Viewing Call History

  1. Log in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Navigate to the My Zoom Voice page and click the Call Log tab.
  3. Use the search options at the top to filter call history by date or contact.
  4. You can identify calls using the following:
    • If the number has a display name or has been added to your contacts list, you'll see a name above the number.
    • Outgoing calls have the following icon beside the number: 
    • Click Delete to delete the call history entry. To delete several entries at once, click the checkbox beside the contact name/number and click Delete.

Viewing and Saving Call Recordings

  1. Log in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Navigate to the My Zoom Voice page and click the Recording tab.
  3. Use the search box at the top to filter call history by a contact name or phone number. Outgoing calls have the following icon beside the number: 
  4. Use the following options to manage call recordings:
    • Click the play icon  to play a recording. 
    • Click Download to save the recording (.mp3 file).
    • Click Delete to delete the selected call recording. To delete several entries at once, click the checkbox beside the contact name/number and click Delete.
