Using a Waiting Room with Zoom Rooms Follow

Overview

The Waiting Room feature allows the host to control when a participant joins the meeting. As the meeting host, you can admit attendees one by one or hold all attendees in the waiting room and admit them all at once.

  • Zoom Rooms for Conference Room for Mac - 4.3.0 (446.0130) or later
  • Zoom Rooms for Conference Room for Chrome - 3.6.2995.0127 or later
  • Zoom Rooms Controller for iOS - 4.3.6 (220.0125) or later
  • Zoom Rooms Controller for Android - 4.3.6 (40253.0127) or later
  • Zoom Rooms Controller for Windows - 4.3.6 (13374.0129) or later
  • Waiting room enabled in the Zoom web portal

Instructions

Enabling or Disabling Waiting Room During a Meeting

  1. As the meeting host, tap Manage Participants.
  2. Click More at the bottom of the participants' window and tap Put Attendee in Waiting Room on Entry to enable the feature.

Admitting Participants During a Meeting

  1. As the meeting host, tap Manage Participants.
  2. Tap Admit to have the participant join the meeting.

Admit All Participants from the Waiting Room

  1. As the meeting host, tap Manage Participants.
  2. Click Admit all.

Sending Participants to the Waiting Room During a Meeting

  1. As the meeting host, click Manage Participants.
  2. Tap the participant's name and choose Put in Waiting Room.
