Using the attendee's CRC license Follow

Overview

Meeting attendees with a CRC license can use their own CRC license when the meeting host does not have a CRC license.

Prerequisites

Join using pairing code:

  • Meeting ID scheduled by a host without a CRC license
  • Attendee is a Licensed user and has a CRC license available

Join without entering pairing code:

  • Meeting ID scheduled by a host without a CRC license
  • Attendee is a Licensed user and has a CRC license available
  • The device is provisioned using the Zoom API Connector
  • The meeting must be joined from the device's calendar or using the Join a Meeting button

Note: Joining a meeting is only allowed up to two hours before the meeting starts and up to one hour after the meeting ends. 

Joining using pairing code

  1. Join the meeting from your H.323/SIP device. Learn more.
  2. On a computer or mobile device, go to zoom.us/meeting/rooms
  3. Sign in to your Zoom account. 
  4. Enter the Meeting ID and pairing code displayed on the device splash screen.
  5. Click Connect.
  6. The device will now join the meeting. A message saying that the device has successfully joined will briefly display on the computer. 

Joining using the API Connector

If the H.323/SIP has been provisioned using the Zoom API Connector for either Cisco, Polycom, or Lifesize, then the device can join meetings on other accounts, as an attendee, without entering the pairing code. This can be used for either scheduled meetings add to the calendar resource (one-tap), or joining via the Meeting ID number. 

Note: Using the attendee license with provisioned Polycom Trio devices, is not supported. Trio's most use the pairing code method.
