Overview
System administrators can use a Mobile Device Management (MDM) to remotely configure the Zoom Meetings app on managed Android devices.

Notes:
- (A) Please have an account admin or owner contact Support to acquire your account ID.
- (B) Please have an account admin or owner contact Support to have this enabled for use. The owner will also need to edit a role to have view/edit access to Device Policy Management. The required token can then be retrieved from the Device Policy Management page.
Configuring Zoom with AirWatch
Adding the Zoom app with Google Play Store integration
The following instruction apply if you set up Google Play Integration with your AirWatch account. If you don't have this integration, you can Visit the AirWatch support site for more information.
- Open AirWatch.
- Click Add > Public Application.
- Enter the following information:
- Platform: Select Android.
- Source: Select Search App Store.
- Name: Enter "zoom" to search the Google Play Store for the Zoom Cloud Meetings app.
- Click Next.
- Click the Zoom Cloud Meetings app from the Google Play Store.
- Click Approve and follow the on-screen prompts to add the app.
Adding the Zoom app without Google Play Store Integration
- Open AirWatch.
- Click Add > Public Application.
- Enter the following information:
- Platform: Select Android.
- URL: Enter the URL of the Zoom app from the Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=us.zoom.videomeetings).
- Click Next.
- Enter a name to identify the Zoom app.
- Click Save and Assign.
Assigning the app to a group and applying a configuration
- Click Add Assignment.
- In the Assignment Groups field, select a group to apply the configuration to.
- Next to Application Configuration, select Enabled if you want to auto-configure certain app settings for users.
- Specify the configuration options as needed. Make sure you don't leave any blank fields since it will prevent you from adding the configuration.
- Click Add.
- Click Save and Publish to deploy the app.
Configuring Zoom with G Suite
Adding the Zoom app
- Sign in to the G Suite admin console.
- In the left-side panel, click App Management.
- Click the option to manage allowed apps.
- Click the plus icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Search for "zoom" and click the Zoom Cloud Meetings app.
- Click Select.
Assigning the app to a group and applying a configuration
- Click Zoom Cloud Meetings in the list of allowed apps.
- Click Create New Managed Configuration.
- Enter a name for the configuration and click Save.
Configuring Zoom with Intune
Adding the Zoom app
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Device Management dashboard.
- Click Client Apps in the left-side panel.
- Click Apps > Add.
- In the App Type drop-down menu, select Managed Google Play, then click Managed Google Play below the drop-down menu.
- Search for "zoom" and click Zoom Cloud Meetings.
- Click Approve.
Assigning the app to a group and applying a configuration
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Device Management dashboard.
- In the left-side panel, click Client Apps > App configuration policies.
- Click Add and enter the following information:
- Name: Enter a display name to help identify the configuration.
- Device enrollment type: Select Managed devices.
- Platform: Select Android.
- Associated app: Select Zoom Cloud Meetings.
- Click Configuration settings.
- In the Configuration settings format drop-down menu, select Use configuration designer, then click Add.
- Use the configuration designer to specify configuration keys, then click OK.
- Use the drop-down menus in the Configuration Value column to specify the values for each key.
- Click OK.
