Managing Zoom Marketplace Follow

Overview

The Marketplace Admin Dashboard allows you to manage apps installed on your account, manage pre-approval and installation requests, regulate app permissions, manage email notifications, and view API logs. Admins on your account will share the same views when managing permissions, installs, and email notifications.

Note: All apps on the Zoom App Marketplace have been reviewed for security and data compliance as part of the process to publish the app to the Zoom App Marketplace.

The admin Dashboard allows you to:

Configure Pre-Approval

Owners or admins can search for apps on marketplace and pre-approve them. Once an app is pre-approved, it can be installed by other members on the account.

Note: If you have not approved an app in the App Marketplace, members on your account can request to install the app. If this occurs, you will receive an email from noreply@zoom.us with further details either to your inbox or to a connected ticketing system.

  1. Sign in to Marketplace.
  2. Search for an app and click the icon to select it.
  3. Click the status toggle to pre-approve the app.

You can also review your pre-approved apps, check pre-approval requests and change your account permissions from the Manage section.

Review Pre-Approved Apps

  1. Click Manage.
  2. Under My Admin Dashboard, click Apps on Account > Pre-Approved Apps to review a list of apps you have pre-approved.

Check Pre-Approval and Install Requests

  1. Click Manage.
  2. Under My Admin Dashboard, click App Requests
    • To check pre-approval requests from your users, click Pre-Approval Requests. These apps require the admin to pre-approve the app before a user can install the app on their own behalf.
    • To check installation requests from your users, click Request to Install. These apps require the admin to install and configure the apps on behalf of the user.

Change Account Permissions

  1. Click Manage.
  2. Under My Admin Dashboard, click Permissions to change your pre-approval settings.
Note: Pre-approval will be required by default when you create an account. If you do not want apps to be pre-approved before they can be installed by members, you can change your permissions after your account is made.
  3. As an Admin, you can restrict the members on your account to only install apps that are pre-approved. Enable or disable the setting Require all the apps that are listed on the Zoom App Marketplace to be pre-approved.
  4. You can choose to exclude types of published apps from this requirement:
    • Exclude apps created by Zoom: Allows your members to install any app created by Zoom without first requiring pre-approval. These apps will have “By Zoom” listed under their name.
    • Exclude apps created by my account members: Allows your members to install any app created by users on your account without first requiring pre-approval.
  5. You can choose to exclude types of unpublished apps from this requirement:
    • Exclude apps created by Zoom: Allows your members to install any unpublished app created by Zoom without first requiring pre-approval.
    • Exclude apps created by my account members: Allows your members to install any unpublished app created by users on your account without first requiring pre-approval.

Allow Specific Members to Install an App

  1. Navigate to any app that you would like to specify installation access.
  2. Enable Pre-approve if the app is not yet pre-approved.

  4. Disable Allow all users on the account to install this app.
  5. Enter the email address and click add for each member that you would like to grant permission to install the app.
Note: Once you have specified members, only those on the list will be able to install the app. You will only be able to grant permission to members on your account.
