  • Meeting Features
    • Rename Meeting Hosted with Personal Meeting ID (PMI)
      Meetings hosted with Personal Meeting ID (PMI) can now be renamed during the meeting to help the host more easily identify recordings.
  • Phone Features
    • Shared Voicemail Inbox
      Users can view the shared voicemail inboxes of phone users, call queues, or auto receptionists. Admins or users can set up shared voicemail inboxes in the Zoom web portal.
    • Search Auto Receptionists, Call Queues, and Common Area Phones
      Users can search and call auto receptionists, call queues, and common area phones using the search bar above the Zoom Phone dial pad. They will also appear in the contacts directory.
    • Call from iOS Contacts App
      Users can make a Zoom Phone call directly from the iOS Contacts app. Users can also set Zoom Phone to be the default calling option.
    • Switch Call to Carrier
      When experiencing a weak 3G/4G signal, users in a Zoom Phone call can switch the call to their phone’s carrier.
    • View Contact Details from Call History and Voicemail Messages
      Users can view contact details from call history entries or voicemail messages. The associated caller must be in the user’s contact directory for contact details to display.
    • Dismiss Incoming Call Notification
      Users can dismiss the incoming call notification. The call will continue to ring on the desktop client, mobile app, or provisioned desk phones.
    • Synced In-call Status
      Users on a call will have their status synced on Zoom desktop client, mobile app, and provisioned desk phones.
    • Notifications for Three-way Calls
      Users will get a notification when someone joins their call, or they are added to a three-way call.
    • Dial Vanity Phone Numbers
      Users can copy and paste vanity phone numbers that contain characters. Zoom will convert the characters to numbers. For example, 1-888-799-ZOOM dials 1-888-799-9666.
    • Select Issue and Enter Description with Diagnostic Report
      Users can select an issue and enter a description when sending a phone diagnostic report to Zoom.
    • Number Formatting for US, UK, and China 
      Phone numbers from the US, UK, and China are properly formatted. For example, US numbers appear as +1 (###) ###-####.
    • Synced In-call Status
      Users on a call will have their status synced on Zoom desktop client, mobile app, and provisioned desk phones.
    • Flip Call
      Users on a call can place it on hold and answer the call on another device (Zoom desktop client, mobile app, or provisioned desk phone).
    • Call Delegation and Shared Lines
      If an account owner or admin assigns a delegate to make and receive calls for another phone user, the delegate can make or receive calls, view shared line status, place calls on hold, and transfer calls.
  • General Features
    • Filter Upcoming Meetings by the Host
      Users can now filter the upcoming meeting list to display all meetings, only their own meetings, or meetings hosted by a user that they have scheduling privilege for.
    • Accessibility Enhancements
    • Enhancements to Login with Google feature

New and Enhanced Features

  • Meeting/Webinar Features 
    • Sharing Key Ease of Use
      Users who visit share.zoom.us and click Share Screen will be prompted to download the client if they have not already done so. The client will launch automatically after installed and display the “enter sharing key” interface.
    • Support for Multiple Pages on Whiteboard
      Participants can now navigate between and annotate on multiple pages.
    • Audio Setting for Auto-Select Based on Network
      The setting Auto-Select Based on Network automatically chooses the best audio option depending on your current phone connection. If you are connected via wifi, Zoom will use device audio. If you are on a cellular connection, Zoom will call your phone number. 
    • Zoom In/Out on their Camera
      Users can now zoom in or out with their camera.
    • Annotation Enhancements
      Zoom will now offer 16 different colors for annotation and remember the last used color when a user starts annotation.
    • Reduced Volume for Enter/Exit Chime
  • Meeting Features
    • Closed Captioning in Breakout Sessions
      Closed Captioning can now be utilized in Breakout Sessions.
    • Settings to Use PMI for Scheduled and Instant Meetings
      For newly created Zoom users, started or scheduled meetings will use PMI if the web settings Use PMI for Scheduled Meetings and Use PMI for Instant Meetings are enabled.
  • Chat Features
    • Indicator that a Message Did Not Send
      If a chat message was not successfully sent, an indicator icon will be displayed on the name of the chat or recipient, indicating that the message did not go through.
    • File Downloading/Uploading Enhancements
      Users can now pause and resume downloading or uploading a file. 
    • Descriptions and Usage Hints for Slash Commands
      Slash Commands will now display descriptions and usage hints before being selected to help users more easily identify the command they need.
    • Presenting IM Status When Screensharing
      When a user is sharing their screen, their IM Status will say “Presenting” and incoming notifications will not be displayed.
  • Phone Features
    • Deactivate Zoom Phone Features
      If an account owner or admin deactivates a user’s Zoom Phone license, Zoom Phone features will be hidden from the user in the client.
    • Display Phone Number Labels of Contacts
      Users can see phone number labels (e.g. work, home) when using the contacts directory to make a call.
    • Copy Direct Phone Numbers
      If a user has direct phone numbers, they can easily copy it from the Zoom Phone settings.
  • General Features
    • H.323/SIP Room Systems Under Contacts
      H.323 and SIP Room Systems that have been added on the web can now be displayed in the contacts list, which gives users the option to dial out to them without first starting a meeting. This feature will be automatically enabled if the account has configured H.323/SIP devices.
    • Additional Apple Pencil Support
      The Zoom Mobile App will now support all iOS level Apple pencil settings.

      Users will now have the option to log in while they are waiting to be admitted to the meeting from the waiting room if the host utilizes the waiting room for guest participants only. This will allow users on the same account to be automatically admitted to the meeting after logging in.

New and Enhanced Features

  • Zoom announces the launch of the Zoom iOS app for Intune. Zoom for Intune is for admins to organize and protect BYOD environments with mobile application management (MAM). This app allows admins to protect corporate data while keeping employees connected.
