Managing your OnZoom host account Follow

Overview

Hosts can manage their OnZoom account from the Manage tab. This includes Host profile, billing information, cancellation policy, as well as detailed event reports.

Prerequisites

  • OnZoom Host account

Profile

  1. Go to onzoom.com and sign in.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click Profile.
  4. You can view and edit the following settings:
    • Profile Picture: To change your profile picture, click Change, to upload a new photo.
    • Host Name: Enter the name you would like to be shown for your events and profile. By default, the name set on your Zoom profile will be used.
    • Host Description: Enter a description of yourself and the events you host.
      Note: There is a 350 character maximum for the description.
    • Video: You can add embedded Youtube videos to enhance your Host profile and attract more Attendees to your events. To add a video, click + Add Video, then copy and paste a Youtube URL in the Youtube Link field.
      Note: You can add up to 3 videos.
    • Social Profile: Add links to your website and social media pages, to allow your Attendees to connect with you in even more ways. Add URLs for your Website, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn page.
  5. Click Save.

Billing information

Linking a PayPal Business account

Note: It is highly recommended for event Hosts to link one PayPal Business account to only one OnZoom account.

If you plan on charging for tickets to your event, you will need to set up integration with your PayPal Business account to accept payments from Attendees and receive payouts for your event.

Note: This can be done during the initial setup process when creating your first event.

  1. Go to onzoom.com and sign in.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click Billing Information.
  4. (Optional) Under Payment Method, enable Accept credit and debit card payments with PayPal to allow Attendees to pay using credit and debit cards without a PayPal account when purchasing tickets.
    Note: If this is not enabled before linking your PayPal Business account, you will have to unlink your PayPal Business account, to change the options.
  5. Click Connect or Sign Up for a PayPal Account.
  6. Once redirected to the PayPal site, follow the prompts to link your existing PayPal Business account, or create a new one.
  7. Under Billing Address, enter your address, city, state, and zip code.

Unlinking a PayPal Business account

  1. Go to onzoom.com and sign in.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click Billing Information.
  4. Click Unlink PayPal.
  5. In the new window, log into PayPal.
  6. Click the checkbox next to Zoom Video Communications (Event Marketplace OnZoom).
  7. When prompted, click Yes, revoke.

Cancellation Policy

In the Cancellation Policy section, you can set the default cancellation policy for Single/Drop-in events and Series events.

Note: These can be modified when creating an event as well.

  1. Go to onzoom.com and sign in.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click Cancellation Policy.
  4. Select which policy you want as default for single events and series events:
    • Attendees can cancel their series ticket for a full refund 1 hour before the start of the series
    • No ticket cancellations will be accepted
  5. Click Save.

Reports

In the Reports section of your Host account, you can view stats for upcoming events and events you have hosted. This includes tickets sold, gross income, and the approximate average hourly rate you have earned for your events. To access the Reports section of the Manage page:

  1. Go to onzoom.com and sign in.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click Reports.

At the top of the reports page, is the hosting Summary. You will see your event statistics including:

  • Total Events: Does not include canceled events.
  • Total Tickets Sold: Does not include refunded tickets.
  • Gross Income: Gross revenue from all ticket sales minus refunds.
  • Total Meeting Minutes: Total time you have hosted, in minutes.
  • Host Rate: Total ticket sale revenue/total meeting minutes of past events = Event Host rate per hour lifetime aggregate.

The Top Events section, will display your events that have the highest gross income.

The Tickets section will display the Paid vs Free and One-Time vs Series comparison graphs for your events.
