Technical previews Follow


Zoom will introduce new features and other offerings as a technical preview when we’re explicitly looking for customer feedback within the first 30 days. During this time, we hope to gather input from customers as to how they’re using our products and features.

As a first step, we recently announced that end-to-end encryption will be generally available as a technical preview next week. Customers may enable end-to-end encryption at the account, group, and user level. Basic (free) customers who would like to host end-to-end encrypted meetings will also need to be SMS verified.

To submit feedback, we recommend customers enable Feedback to Zoom on their account. When enabled, customers may submit feedback directly through the Zoom client by navigating to their Settings and selecting Feedback.

Does a technical preview mean the product or feature isn’t ready?

No. Zoom values customer feedback, and may announce a new product or feature as a technical preview when it is explicitly seeking feedback from customers for the first 30 days.
