Setting notifications in the OnZoom Notification Center Follow

Overview

OnZoom can notify you via email and/or push notification inside the OnZoom Notification Center about activity related to events and tickets. You can update your notification settings in the Notification Center at any time.

Prerequisites

To join an OnZoom event, you will need:

  • Zoom desktop client
    • Windows: 5.3.0 (52651.0920) or higher
    • macOS: 5.3.0 (52651.0920) or higher
  • Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education account

Notification settings for delivery via email or push notifications

You can receive email and/or push notifications about these types of activity.

Host-related notifications

You can receive Host-related notifications when:

  • An Attendee posts a review to an event I hosted
  • An Attendee requests a ticket refund
  • Tickets for one of my events will sell out soon
  • It’s 24 hours before one of my events starts as a reminder

Attendee-related notifications

You can receive Attendee-related notifications when:

  • I receive an invitation to a private event
  • I receive a message from the Host of an event I registered for
  • Tickets for a sold-out event I favorited become available
  • A new event is published by a Host I favorited

Misc notifications

You can receive misc notifications when:

  • OnZoom sends the weekly-recommended event list

Notification Center

The Notification Center displays all the notifications you have received. If you see a red dot in your profile picture, you have a notification related to one of the notification types you are enabled to receive.

Viewing your notifications

To view your notifications, open the Notification Center:

  1. Sign in to OnZoom.
  2. Click on your profile picture.
  3. Click Notifications.

Managing your notifications

To manage your notification(s):

  1. Sign in to OnZoom.
  2. Click on your profile picture.
  3. Click Notifications.
  4. To the right of the notification, click on the ... icon to manage your notification:
    • Mark as Read: Changes the notification status to read.
    • Delete this Notification: Removes this notification from the Notification Center.
    • Unsubscribe from this Host: Stop receiving notifications of any kind from this Host.

Setting your notification options

To select the notification types you want and how you want to receive them:

  1. Sign in to OnZoom.
  2. Click on your profile picture.
  3. Click Notifications.
  4. Click on ⚙ Settings.
  5. Under the OnZoom and/or Email columns, check the boxes next to the notification types you want to receive.
  6. Click Save.

To stop receiving a notification type, or to change how you want to receive notifications:

  1. Sign in to OnZoom.
  2. Click on your profile picture.
  3. Click on Notifications.
  4. Click on ⚙ Settings.
  5. Under the OnZoom and/or Email columns, uncheck the boxes next to the notification types you don't want to receive anymore.
  6. Click Save.

Unsubscribing from notifications from a specific Host

To unsubscribe from notifications from a specific Host:

  1. Sign in to OnZoom.

  2. Click on your profile picture.
  3. Click Notifications.
  4. Click on ⚙ Settings.
  5. Find a notification from the Host that you want to block, then click on the icon to the right of the notification.
  6. Click on Unsubscribe from this Host.

To unsubscribe from notifications from a specific Host via the unsubscribe link in the notification email:

  1. Sign in to your email account or open your email application.

  2. Open the notification email from OnZoom.

  3. At the bottom of the email, click on the Unsubscribe from [Host's name] event invitations link.

To unsubscribe from notifications from a specific Host via search:

  1. Sign in to OnZoom.

  2. Click on your profile picture.
  3. Click Notifications.
  4. Click on ⚙ Settings.
  5. In the search box under Hosts I've Unsubscribed From, type in name of the Host you want to unsubscribe from.
  6. Click on the name of the Host.

Resubscribing to notifications from a specific Host

To resubscribe to notifications from a specific Host:

  1. Sign in to OnZoom.
  2. Click on your profile picture.
  3. Click on Notifications.
  4. Click on ⚙ Settings.
  5. Scroll down to the Hosts I've Unsubscribed From section.
  6. Find the name of the Host you want to resubscribe to, then click on the icon to the right of the name.
  7. Click Resubscribe to this Host.
