New and enhanced features

  • DTMF command configuration setting for devices
A setting has been added to the device configuration page that allows the assigning of dial string commands, which will be used by the device when joining a meeting from the device, including using one-touch joining.

Changes to existing features

  • Disabling of TLS 1.1
TLS 1.1 will be disabled on March 26, 2021, for the US West and all non-US data centers. This change will take effect for US East data centers on April 2, 2021. This change will impact all SIP/H.323 devices attempting to connect to a meeting that requires device encryption and all managed devices. This will be enforced for all device types: both managed with an API connector or unmanaged by Zoom.
  • Set passcode for a room’s Personal Meeting ID
Allows the ability to set the passcode for a room’s Personal Meeting ID, to be used in the dial string when an instant meeting is started from the room.
Note: This must be the same as the passcode set under the Personal Meeting Room settings of the Room’s Personal Meeting ID.
