Enabling Toll Call Follow

Overview

Participants can dial into meetings with toll numbers listed in the Zoom client and email invitation if Toll Call is enabled. If this setting is disabled, participants will have no telephone dial-in options for meetings even though Audio type meeting setting is setup for Telephone.

The meeting host must be Licensed for participants to dial-in with a toll number.

Enabling Toll Call

Account

To enable Toll Call for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Audio Conferencing tab.
  4. Verify that Toll Call is enabled.
  5. If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
  6. Click the pencil icon .
  7. In the Select Toll Numbers pop-up window, select the desired toll numbers for countries or regions.
  8. Click Save.
  9. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon , and click Lock to confirm the setting.

Group

Note: If you signed up for a new Zoom account after August 21, 2021; or the New Admin Experience is enabled on your account, the Group Management page has been renamed to Groups.

To enable Toll Call for a group of users:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit groups.
  2. In the navigation panel, click User Management then Group Management.
  3. Click the applicable group name from the list, then click the Audio Conferencing tab.
  4. Verify that Toll Call is enabled.
  5. If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level and needs to be changed at that level.
  6. Click the pencil icon .
  7. In the Select Toll Numbers pop-up window, select the desired toll numbers for countries or regions.
  8. Click Save.
  9. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in the group, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

User

Note: While you can view this setting at the user level, only IT admins can make changes for this setting.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Settings.
  3. Click the Audio Conferencing tab.
  4. Verify Toll Call is enabled.
    Notes: If Toll Call is disabled and grayed out, contact your account administrator.
  5. Click See all numbers to view the list of numbers that are included in the meeting email invitation and Zoom client.
    Note: If a country is not present, contact your account administrator.

Using Toll Call

  1. Schedule a meeting or use your Personal Meeting ID.
  2. In the Audio section while editing the meeting, click Edit next to Dial from.
  3. Check the desired countries to include in the meeting invitation for participants to dial from. By default, this includes your Global Dial-In Countries listed in your meeting settings.
    Note: To include toll numbers for countries from which you commonly invite attendees, follow these instructions.
