Sending videos in Zoom Chat Follow

Overview

Zoom Chat streamlines communications between team members, easily allowing the sharing of messages (including audio messages), gifs, files, and now videos that can be played directly in the chat window. This eliminates the need (in many cases) of opening the video in another application outside of the Zoom client, further streamlining your workflow within Zoom.

Prerequisites

  • Zoom desktop client
    • Windows: 5.7.3 or higher
    • macOS: 5.7.3 or higher

    • 30 MB max file size

Note: Videos sent from the mobile app will transcode the video file into an MP4 (H.264 codec with ACC stereo audio) with 720p maximum resolution.
