Re-syncing phones and devices

You need to re-sync desk phones to pass settings from the Zoom web portal to desk phones. Re-sync desk phones after making these changes in the web portal:
- Changed desk phone settings
- Changed account-level settings for phones and devices
- Configured call delegation and shared lines
- Changed line keys settings
- Assigned or removed a provision template
- Created a firmware update rule and selected option to restart with the next re-sync or Auto Pulling
Notes:
- You can also re-sync desk phones with the zero touch provisioning server.
- By default, Poly and Yealink devices are configured to receive the new provisioning without restarting the device. However, depending on the setting changes, the device may have to restart.

- Account owner or admin privileges
- Zoom Phone license
- Zoom Phone devices added and provisioned
How to re-sync all desk phones and common area phones in the account or site
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Phone System Management then Phones & Devices.
- Click Resync Devices located in the top-right area.
- In the Target Device drop-down menu, select one of these options:
- Account: Re-sync all phones in the account.
- Site: Re-sync all phones in the site. Use the site drop-down menu to select a site.
- Click Resync.
The desk phones will reboot.
How to re-sync a desk phone or common area phone
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Navigate to user phones or common area phones:
- User desk phones: Click Phone System Management then Phones & Devices.
- Common area phones: Click Phone System Management then Users & Rooms. Click the Common Area Phones tab.
- Click the display name of the phone you want to re-sync.
- Next to Status, click Resync, then click Yes to confirm.
The desk phone will reboot.
