Using a payment card to buy a Zoom Events ticket

Tickets for paid Zoom Events can be purchased using a credit card or a debit card. You can pay for event tickets with a credit or debit card if you do not have a PayPal account.

Additionally, you can store your credit or debit card information securely in your Zoom Events account.

Prerequisites for using a payment card to buy a ticket

  • Zoom desktop client:
    • Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
    • macOS: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Zoom mobile client
    • iOS: 5.7.6 or higher
    • Android: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Basic user

Notes:

  • There is a dependency with Windows' Webview package for Windows platform; while version 5.7.6 does support Zoom Events, it may cause a blank lobby experience for attendees.
  • For attendee access to the latest Zoom Events and Webinar features, we highly encourage attendees to update to the latest version of the Zoom desktop client/mobile application.

How to purchase Zoom Events tickets for the first time

You can have up to two payment cards saved to your Zoom Events account.

When your Zoom Events account does not have a payment card saved or only 1 payment card saved to it, the option to Save this payment method for future use will appear when you select your payment method. Selecting this option will save the payment method to your Zoom Events account.

Pay with a new debit or credit card

If you select New debit or credit card:

  1. Enter the required Card Holder Name and Card Information.
  2. (Optional) Select the Save this payment method for future use check box.
    Note: Selecting this will add the payment method to your Zoom Events account.
  3. Click Pay.
    The total amount will be displayed on the button.

Pay with a saved debit or credit card

If you select a saved debit or credit card:

  1. Enter the payment card's CVC number.
  2. Click Pay.
    The total amount will be displayed on the button.

Pay with a debit or credit card through PayPal

If you select the Debit or Credit Card (Powered by PayPal), you will be redirected to PayPal’s checkout page:

  1. Enter the required credit/debit card information.
  2. Enter the billing address.
  3. Enter your contact information.
  4. Click Continue as Guest.

How to purchase tickets after the first-time purchase with a credit card

If you saved a card to your Zoom Events account during the checkout process when you purchased a ticket the first time, or if you manually added a card to your Zoom Events account, the process to buy a ticket will be more streamlined and convenient.

Pay with a saved debit or credit card

After you select a saved payment card:

  1. Enter the payment card's CVC number.
  2. Click Pay.
    The total amount will be displayed on the button.
