Enabling meeting surveys Follow

Overview

Enabling meeting surveys allows the host to present surveys to participants once a meeting has ended. In addition to Zoom’s native meeting survey feature, hosts can use a third-party survey service, such as Google Forms or Survey Monkey. Learn more about creating post-meeting surveys and reporting.

Note: Meeting surveys are separate from end-of-meeting experience feedback surveys and post-webinar surveys.

Prerequisites

  • Zoom desktop client
    • Windows: 5.7.3 or higher
    • macOS: 5.7.3 or higher
    • Linux: 5.7.3 or higher
  • Zoom mobile app
    • Android: 5.7.3 or higher
    • iOS: 5.7.3 or higher

Instructions

Account

To enable Meeting Survey for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Basic), verify that Meeting Survey is enabled.
  5. If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Group

To enable Meeting Survey for a group of users:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit groups.
  2. In the navigation panel, click User Management then Group Management.
  3. Click the applicable group name from the list.
  4. Click the Meeting tab.
  5. Under In Meeting (Basic), verify that Meeting Survey is enabled.
  6. If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level and needs to be changed at that level.
  7. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in the group, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

User

To enable Meeting Survey for your own use:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation panel, click Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Basic), verify that Meeting Survey is enabled.
  5. If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.
