Setting notifications in the Zoom Events Notification Center

Last Updated:

Zoom Events can notify you through email or push notifications in the Zoom Events Notification Center about activity related to events and tickets.

You can receive notifications as it pertains to your Hub-related role, or whether you're a host or attendee of an event. You can update your notification settings in the Notification Center at any time.

This article covers:

Prerequisites for notifications in the Zoom Events Notification Center

Host

  • Zoom desktop client
    • Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
    • macOS: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Zoom mobile client
    • iOS: 5.7.6 or higher
    • Android: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education account
  • Stripe or PayPal Business account is required to create paid events
  • Zoom Events license

Attendee

  • Zoom desktop client:
    • Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
    • macOS: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Zoom mobile client
    • iOS: 5.7.6 or higher
    • Android: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Basic user

Notes:

  • There is a dependency with Windows' Webview package for Windows platform; while version 5.7.6 does support Zoom Events, it may cause a blank lobby experience for hosts.
  • For access to the latest Zoom Events and Webinar features, we strongly recommend hosts and attendees to update to the latest version of the Zoom desktop client/mobile application.
