Maximum ticket capacity for Zoom Events

Last Updated:

The event ticket capacity depends on the number of Attendees that your Zoom Events license allows for. The maximum number of participants that your Zoom Meetings license allows for has no effect on the event ticket capacity for your Zoom Events.

Additionally, session capacity in a Zoom Event is equal to the capacity of the Zoom Events license. For example, if an event Host has a Zoom Events 1,000 license, they can have up to 1,000 Attendees in their Webinar or Meeting session. A Meeting session has a maximum capacity of 1,000 Attendees, even if the Host has a Zoom Events license greater than 1,000.
Note: If a meeting is scheduled outside of Zoom Events, meeting capacity is determined by the Zoom Meeting license capacity.

All special roles and Attendees contribute towards the event's ticket capacity.

Example:

  • If your Zoom Events license allows for a capacity of 1,000 Attendees but your Meeting license allows for a capacity of 500 Attendees, your event ticket capacity for both Zoom Event types—single-session and conference—will be 1,000.
  • If your Zoom Events license allows for a capacity of 500 Attendees and your Meeting license allows for a capacity of 1,000 Attendees, then your event ticket capacity for both Zoom Event types—single-session and conference—will only be 500.
