April 24, 2022 version 5.10.3 (480)
New and enhanced features
- General features
- Zoom Whiteboard
The virtual whiteboarding experience has been redesigned to bring you the all-new Zoom Whiteboard, a cross-platform visual collaboration solution. With Zoom Whiteboard, you can brainstorm and collaborate on a persistent, expandable, digital canvas. All Zoom Rooms can open, view and save whiteboards from a desktop client paired to the Zoom Room. Zoom Rooms for Touch can also create and save whiteboards. This feature is separate from the “classic” whiteboard feature, which will continue to be available. The administrative controls for the new Zoom Whiteboard on Zoom Rooms are found in the Zoom web portal on the Zoom Rooms account settings page, and on the pages for lower tiers of the Zoom Rooms location hierarchy. - Zoom Event tickets
Zoom Event organizers or hosts can now invite Zoom Rooms that are listed in an organizations directory to an event. The event will appear on the Zoom Room's calendar, which allows users to join the event from the room.

April 2, 2022 version 5.10.0 (421)
New and enhanced features
- General features
- User interface updates
The Zoom Rooms user interface (UI) has been updated to provide a more consistent experience. The new UI aligns with the Zoom desktop and mobile clients, matches Zoom’s current branding, and provides an optimized information architecture to better meet user needs. The in-meeting experience has been updated for Windows, Mac, and iPad Zoom Rooms. It has also been updated for Zoom Rooms Appliances and iOS and Android Zoom Rooms controllers. The out-of-meeting experience has been updated for Windows-attached and Web Zoom Rooms controllers. See our blog post for more information. - Support for joining Zoom Events via pairing with Zoom Rooms
Attendees can start or join live sessions via a Zoom Room that is paired to their Zoom clients on laptops or mobile devices. Start/Join buttons are only accessible on the Zoom client interface. - Hide user personal information in contact details
Enable this setting to hide users’ personal information in the contact details page. The affected fields are: personal note, company, department, manager, job title, locations, internal number, extension, direct number, phone number, email. - Removal of Calendar Integration error message
Previously, when a Zoom Room was not linked to a calendar, a prominent error on the Zoom Rooms Controller home page appeared: "This room needs to be connected to a calendar. Contact your Zoom Rooms admin". This error message has been updated to suggest that connection to a calendar is not mandatory. Organizations that do not wish to connect their Zoom Rooms to a calendar can have their admins hide the upcoming meetings list on Zoom Rooms Controllers, which removes the message completely.
