Syncing Zoom Meetings to Google Calendar

To sync your Zoom Meetings with Google Calendar, you must create a Google project and configure authentication between it and the Zoom for Salesforce integration.

How to set the Zoom Google Calendar integration to active

  1. Log in to Salesforce.
  2. Access Salesforce then the Zoom Config page.
  3. Under Google Calendar API Settings, select the Active check box to enable the integration.
  4. Click Save.

How to create a project for the Google Calendar API

  1. Log in to your Google account.
  2. Access Google Cloud Platform, then click Create a Project.
  3. Enter a project name and click Create.
  4. Search for and enable the Google Calendar API.
  5. Click Credentials then click Credentials in APIs & Services then Oauth consent.
  6. Enter the application name.
  7. Add force.com to the Authorized domains section.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Click Create credentials then click OAuth client ID then Web application.
  10. Retrieve the Zoom Redirect URL from Salesforce:
    1. Log in to Salesforce and access Visualforce Pages.
    2. Click the icon next to ZoomDetails.
    3. Copy the URL from the address bar.
  11. Paste the Zoom redirect URL into your new Google project, Authorized redirect URLs field, and click Create.

How to copy Google project information to Salesforce Zoom configuration

  1. From the Google project, copy both the client ID and client secret.
  2. Under the User Google Calendar API Settings section, paste them to the Salesforce Zoom Config page.
  3. Click Client Credentials
  4. Under the User Google Calendar API Settings section, copy the API Key and paste it to the Salesforce Zoom Config page.
  5. Click Save.
