Creating and sharing Zoom Whiteboards in chats and channels

Zoom Whiteboards can be created and shared in Zoom Desktop Client chats and channels for enhanced collaboration between users.

Prerequisites for creating and sharing Zoom Whiteboards in chat
- Zoom desktop client
- Windows: 5.10.7 or higher
- macOS: 5.10.7 or higher
- Linux: 5.10.7 or higher
- Zoom Whiteboard enabled for your account by an administrator
How to share Zoom Whiteboards in chats and channels
Using the interface to share
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click a chat or channel.
- At the top right, click More Actions.
- Click the plus icon
next to Whiteboards, then click Share Whiteboard.
- Click the whiteboard you would like to share, select the permissions, then click Share to Chat or Share to Channel.
Using a link to share
- On an existing whiteboard, click Share, then click
Copy Link.
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click a chat or channel.
- Paste the link into the chat or channel.
Note: If you have not given the users in the chat or channel access to the whiteboard, they will be prompted to request access when they click the shared link.
How to create Zoom Whiteboards in chats or channels
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click a chat or channel.
- At the top right, click More Actions.
- Click the plus icon
next to Whiteboards, then click Create Whiteboard.
- Click the whiteboard you would like to share, select the permissions, then click Share to Chat or Share to Channel.
