Customizing the Set Variables widget

The Set Variables widget allows you to set a global or custom variable by manually entering a value or passing variable from another widget.
Prerequisites for customizing the Set Variables widget
- Account owner or admin privileges; or relevant role/privilege
- Pro, Business, or Education account
- Zoom Contact Center license
- Voice, video, web chat, in-app chat, or SMS flow created
How to add and edit the Set Variables widget
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Contact Center Management then Flows.
- Click a flow's display name to edit it.
- In the left-side widgets panel, click and drag Set Variables onto the preferred location in the flow.
- Select the Set Variables widget.
- (Optional) Click Rename to change the display name of the widget.
- In the Settings tab, select a custom or global variable in the Variable drop-down menu.
- In the Assign Value section, select one of these options:
- Enter a value: Enter a value to set the variable to.
- Use value from another variable: Pass a value from another widget's variable; or another custom or global variable.
- (Optional) Click the plus icon to set additional variables. Repeat steps 7 and 8.
- Click the Exits tab to customize exit settings.
- Next Step: Select the destination widget after the variable is set.
