Managing profile picture on the Zoom web portal

Apart from updating your Zoom profile information such as your display name and contact information, you can also add your profile picture on the Zoom web portal. A profile picture allows you to be identified at a glance and helps with collaborating with others, especially with those you have only met virtually.
Your profile picture is visible:
- to meeting participants when your video is off unless hidden by the host
- in the in-meeting chat unless the use of profile picture is disabled by the meeting host
- to account owners and admins
- in Contacts right next to your name
- in Zoom Chat

How to manage your profile picture on the Zoom web portal
The Zoom web portal allows you to manage your profile picture. Any changes made will reflect across devices where your Zoom account is signed in.
Add your profile picture
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Profile.
- In the section with your name and other personal details, click the pencil icon
in the picture frame.
- Drag and drop the file or click Choose Files to upload your picture.
Note: Please select a jpg/jpeg, gif, or png image file with a size smaller than 2MB. - (Optional) Adjust the crop area as needed.
- Click Save.
Change your profile picture
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Profile.
- In the section with your name and other personal details, click the pencil icon
in the picture frame.
- Click Change.
- Select your preferred picture and then click Open.
Note: Please select a jpg/jpeg, gif, or png image file with a size smaller than 2MB. - (Optional) Adjust the crop area as needed.
- Click Save.
Delete your profile picture
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Profile.
- In the section with your name and other personal details, click the pencil icon
in the picture frame.
- Click Delete then Yes.
How to troubleshoot profile picture changes not reflecting in meetings
If the changes you made on your profile picture do not reflect during meetings, you may need to sign out, restart the Zoom app, and sign back in.
